This is one of the five newest colors of NENE 4-ply yarns from RiverKnits company. This company does a wonderful job of sourcing Bluefaced Leicester and hand-dyeing it in the amazing colors, all in Britain.

The new Wonky Veg line includes Jasper, Rainbow Chard, Rhubarb and Custard, Tromboncino, and Best in Show shades. All five colors come in 4 ply and DK weight.

This is a smooth, worsted-spun and plied yarn with a gorgeous luster and great definition! The Bluefaced Leicester breed produces wool that is both strong and next-to-skin soft, making it ideal for a wide range of projects. This yarn will work fantastically in shawls, socks, jumpers, and other accessories. It wears well over time and pills very little. The stitch definition is excellent, making it suitable for beautiful stocking stitch, textured knit-purl patterns, thick and squishy brioche, and well-defined cables.
