Pattern BUMBLEBEE by Trish Burr for Inspiration Studios, Featuring Whitework with color Embroidery
A striking bumblebee, all in flowers, made in whitework with color technique by Trish Burr. Finished design size is 4" x 5.5".
Inspirations Studios describe this project:
"The bumblebee is part of the larger bee family and is identified by its large, fluffy abdomen.
Feeding on nectar and living in small colonies, they are as important as pollinators as honeybees but are equally endangered.
Worked using Trish’s unique ‘Whitework with Colour’ technique with stranded cotton onto white linen, this spectacular specimen is adorned with a sprinkling of flowers, a subtle reminder of the unique symbiotic relationship they share."
This booklet includes complete instructions and full size pattern. 11 pages, full color illustrations and a list of required supplies are all included. The project uses DMC stranded cotton, and DMC #30 and #25 broder special, blanc (needlepoint cotton floss from DMC).
